Admission Procedure

  • The college ensures publicity and transparency in the admission process in a way that palliates public sentiment. The admission process begins with the publication of HS result under WECHSE, Government of West Bengal. A Student desirous of getting himself/herself admitted to the college is required to follow the stipulated steps from downloading and filling in the application forms to payment of fees, available online on the college website . The dates for the commencement of online application, publication of merit list, counselling for Honours student, admission dates etc are all displayed from time to time on our college website.

    Preference for admission is given to candidates residing under the jurisdiction of the Mal Sub Division. In all categories due reservations are given to SC/ST/PH/OBC(A)/OBC(B) students as per Govt. rules.

    ONLINE ADMISSION NOTICE FOR THE SESSION: 2020-21

    Online application forms for the admission into the 1st & 2nd Semester BA & B.Com (both Honours Programme & Programme Course) and B.Sc. Programme Course will be available on and from 10/08/2020 time: 11.30 AM to 25/08/2020 Time: 12 Midnight.

    An eligible student (according to marks and category criteria as notified separately) desirous of getting himself / herself admitted to the college is required to complete the online application form to be downloaded from the college website “www.pmsm.org.in” or link for admission portal “www.pmsmahavidyalayaadmission.in” on payment of registration fees of Rs.100.00 + requisite bank charges.

    A student should be careful enough to read through the total information given in this notice while filling in the online application form as regards his/her eligibility criterion, based on marks and category, mode of payment of online registration fee, seats on offer to different courses and subject availability in the college.

    Students are not required to visit the college campus rather get themselves acquainted with all information relating to all important dates in connection with the admission, merit list etc. from the college app or college website by visiting the college app or college website on regular basis. Students shall be given information regarding counselling on their mobile as mobile alerts, provided the student has given a correct mobile number in their application form.

    Mere fulfilling the minimum requirements is not a guarantee for admission to the college. The college shall admit students based on the maximum intake capacity, fulfilling all government reservation norms.
